A man charged with second-degree murder in connection with a recent homicide in Kilbride will remain in custody pending his next court date.
39-year-old Dwayne Ginn is on indefinite remand at least until July 14, when he’s expected to enter a plea.
Ginn is accused of attacking 41-year-old Mark Hamlyn outside the multi-unit house where they were both tenants.
It happened in the early-morning hours of June 14 on Old Bay Bulls Road.
The victim was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police have released very few details surrounding the incident, declining to say how Hamlyn died or what, if any weapon was used.
