Police intercepted a young man with a lead foot on Peacekeepers Way in Conception Bay South last night.
The 18-year-old was tracked on police radar at 171 km/h in a 90 km/h zone shortly before 10 p.m.
RNC impounded the vehicle, took his driver’s licence and applied the appropriate charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
