Production has started on season two of “Son of a Critch.”

The comedy series tells the story of Newfoundland comedian Mark Critch’s childhood in St. John’s, and stars Mark as his father Mike Critch, a prominent VOCM reporter.

Since its premiere last winter, the series has ranked as the most-watched Canadian comedy in the country.

The newest season, set to premiere in the winter of 2023.
