A new sketch comedy show is touring the island next week.

“Middle Raged” is a live sketch comedy show that presents itself as a sketch show for those going through the middle ages of life, finding comedy from marriages, mortgages, the bedroom, and anything else that people face before their twilight years.

The show stars Geri Hall of 22 Minutes fame and Gary Pearson from MadTV. Hall, who’s also the creator, says the idea stemmed from her and Pearson joking around after watching a sketch show aimed at a younger audience.

Hall says they made a list of all the funny, real-life scenarios they could think of, and by the end of it, they had an hour-and-a-half long sketch show.

The show makes its way to the island this Sunday in Corner Brook, and will tour Arts and Culture Centres across the province.
