Emergency services at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point will be supported by a virtual ER for the next couple of days, beginning tomorrow.
The measure has been put in place due to a temporary physician shortage at the facility.
On site emergency services will be supported through a virtual ER from 8 a.m. tomorrow until 8 a.m. on Monday.
A healthcare provider will be on-site to support patient care and assist with the virtual care.
Residents in the area requiring emergency services during this time are asked to call 911 or proceed to the Bonne Bay Health Centre.
