RNC accident investigators are seeking any witnesses as part of their probe into a recent hit and run near the ferry terminal in Portugal Cove that sent a man to hospital with injuries.

Police were called around 9:30 on the evening of Saturday, August 6 after a man on a skateboard was struck by a larger style motorcycle which then left the scene.

The driver of the motorcycle was last seen pushing the machine toward the ferry terminal. The man on the skateboard was taken to hospital for treatment.
