The return to school is now just over a week away and the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association is giving parents some advice on how to prepare their kids for the year ahead.
President Trent Langdon says even though the start of school is still over a week out it’s a good idea for parents to start easing their kids back into the routine now.
He says to start getting kids to bed a little earlier, and getting them up earlier as well.
Langdon says parents should talk to their kids if they are feeling overwhelmed.
