There will be no garbage collection in the capital city today due to the Labour Day holiday. Instead, garbage normally collected on Mondays will be collected on Tuesday along with the regular Tuesday collection.

Parking by-laws remain in effect, but paid parking will not be enforced today.

Labour Day is a shops closing day so most stores and banks are closed for the day.

Today is the final day of the season for the city’s splash pads, and Robin Hood Bay is closed to both residential and commercial users.
