The province’s new home heating supplement program for people who use furnace or stove oil has been officially launched.

The supplement ranges from $200 and $500 dollars and is available to residents who have incurred direct costs for the purchase of furnace or stove oil and whose adjusted family income for last year was $150,000 or less.

Applications are open until the end of November. Applicants are asked to include a copy of their invoice for the purchase of furnace or stove oil from last year.
