Another report of a possible attempted child abduction in the province, this time in Marystown.
RCMP received a report from a parent who indicated their child was approached while walking along Creston Boulevard.
The man who was the lone occupant of a red pickup truck asked the child to get into his vehicle. The child refused and ran to a nearby home.
The man is described as being between 40 and 50 years old with grey hair and a thin build.
Police conducted patrols of the general area and the vehicle and driver were not located or identified. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
