Whitbourne RCMP are congratulating a dedicated local community volunteer who has taken the next step and is off to Regina, Saskatchewan to attend the RCMP Training Academy.
Braden Clarke of Whitbourne has served on the Whitbourne Volunteer Fire Rescue team and has worked as a civilian volunteer with the Whitbourne Army Cadets.
He has worked as a guard at the local RCMP detachment to pursue training as an RCMP officer.
Members and employees of the Whitbourne RCMP detachment held a little gathering for Clarke earlier this week to wish him well.
