Operation Ragged was launched in March following public safety concerns related to the shooting of firearms and arson offences.
RNC Superintendent Shawn O’Reilly says two men are charged and more charges are pending as a result of Operation Ragged.

Tyler Downey and Jake Long—both 24-year-old men from of St. John’s—are facing drug and weapons-related charges. Both were arrested September 18.
He says four others are expected to be charged with up to 90 charges pending—mostly related to the firearms.

Superintendent O’Reilly says the lifestyle is attractive to young people because of the near-instant wealth involved. However, it is a very dangerous lifestyle and immediately puts you on the radar of police.
The investigation continues.
