Members of the Canadian Armed Forces are in Labrador this week for winter warfare training.
The exercise, known as Maroon Sojourne 2023, will see training taking place in Sheshatshiu, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and North West River from now until Friday.
During this time blank ammunition and smoke grenades may be heard or observed, and there will be an increased military traffic on roads and trails.
They note that munitions will not be used within residential boundaries.
