More spring-like temperatures of late means skating at the Loop in Bannerman Park is now over.
The City of St. John’s has closed the Loop for the season due to warming temperatures.
Meanwhile, a number of forest access roads in central Newfoundland are temporarily closing on Wednesday, April 5, because of the spring thaw.
They include forest access roads in the Point Leamington, Botwood, Lewisporte, Glenwood, Birchy Bay, Gander, Bay, Gambo and Glovertown areas.
