A young boy’s love of dance has earned him and his brother the top prize at the Newfoundland and Labrador High School Short Film Festival.
When 11-year-old Cameron Jenkins and his 13-year-old brother Tristan decided to enter the festival, they chose to make a documentary-style film about the younger brother’s love of dance, titled Dance Chose Me.
Cameron and his brother says they were “shook” when they heard they had won the $1,000 prize.

Cameron currently does hip-hop at Catherine’s Dance Studio in Bay Roberts, and he also dances with the new Creative Edge Dance Company.
