A man in Conception Harbour has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation.

50-year-old Joseph Lewis was arrested at a home on Valley Road in the community last night.

Following a search of the home, RCMP seized a quantity of cocaine, items related to drug-trafficking, as well as evidence in connection with the sexual assault investigation.

Lewis is facing charges of sexual assault and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The investigation continues and police believe there may be other victims yet to come forward.
