RCMP will be out in force this long holiday weekend to ensure road safety.
The first long weekend of the summer is when many take to the road to spend some time camping, at their cabin, or just enjoying the great outdoors.
RCMP Corporal Jolene Garland is urging patience as drivers take to the highway.
For those pulling their campers and trailers out of storage, make sure everything is in good working order.
“Make sure your tires are good, make sure your brakes are safe and secure” says Garland.
