Construction has begun on the new Track and Field facility for the 2025 Canada Games, affecting traffic and parking in the busy areas of Westerland Road, Paton Street and Lambe’s Lane.
The construction work underway on the old Prince of Wales Collegiate soccer pitch is affecting parking at the Aquarena.
Heavy equipment is moving through the area on a regular basis, with the bulk of activity between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday with some daily activity extending into the evening hours through the summer.
