Police are continuing to investigate a stabbing in the west end of St. John’s yesterday evening.
Just before 7:30 p.m., police were called to an assault in the area of the Topsail Road and Columbus Drive intersection, where a man had been seriously injured.
Police located the 34-year-old man and determined he had been assaulted between Bay Bulls Road and Topsail Road. He was sent to hospital for treatment.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or video footage of the area from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.on Wednesday to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
