Israel has resumed its combat operations against Hamas in Gaza, with airstrikes taking place mere minutes after a temporary truce came to an end.
While aid trucks had been delivering goods into Gaza over the course of the seven-day ceasefire, reports indicate no more trucks have crossed into the region since the truce came to an end.
The ceasefire was brokered to allow for the exchange of Israeli hostages held by Hamas since the October 7 attack which triggered the war, and Palestinian prisoners held in Israel.
The original four-day truce extended into seven days, with Israel vowing to resume operations in Gaza once the truce came to an end.
