A 35-year-old man, accused of aggravated assault, is being held in custody until cash bail for his release can be paid.
Adam Michael Peters, a resident of Ontario, was arrested after a man was sent to hospital with serious injuries following an incident in Bay L’Argent Tuesday evening.
Peters made an appearance in Grand Bank provincial court yesterday.
Peters’ spouse is on her way to Newfoundland from Ontario to pay the $1,500 cash deposit for his release, and he will be held until the deposit is paid.
