Reports out of Quebec indicate that a sale process is underway that would see Steve Leal, owner of Canadian multinational Fix Auto, purchase the Newfoundland Growlers and Trois-Rivières Lions.
Le Nouvelliste, a paper based in Trois-Rivières, is reporting that the Lions and the Growlers will continue to be under the same umbrella—Leal Sports and Entertainment.
What that means for Newfoundland Growlers operations is not immediately clear.
