Fire has consumed a home in Cape St. George.

Firefighters were called to Oceanview Drive around 11:00 yesterday morning.

Despite their efforts the building was destroyed.

The unoccupied home was under renovation and there was no one inside the property at the time.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
