Mary Brown’s partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays has been a smashing success for the Newfoundland-based company.
Chief marketing officer Jeff Barlow says their two locations inside the Rogers Centre in Toronto surpassed all their goals in terms of sales.
The company also partnered with the team to release the batters box meal, which was promoted by players George Springer and Alek Manoah.
Barlow says the batters box was so successful, it shattered sales records that were previously held by the company. Though it was a limited time offer, he says customers can expect to see the product back on the menu this summer.
He says the success inside the ballpark has sparked growth with more restaurants being added across Canada and around the world.
The company has nearly 280 locations across Canada. The first U.K. location just opened up earlier this year, and a restaurant in Mexico is opening in May. Barlow says other international locations are in the works.
