A 26-year-old Corner Brook man was ticketed for driving at speeds of 60 km/h more than the posted limit in a construction zone yesterday morning.
RCMP pulled the vehicle over after it sped through the construction zone on the Trans Canada near Massey Drive at 113 km/h.
RCMP say a construction crew was working on the site at the time. There were no injuries.
The driver was ticketed $1,170 for speeding in excess of 51 km/h in a construction zone. His licence was suspended and his vehicle seized.
