Weight restrictions are in place on Pitts Memorial due to ongoing work on the CN Viaduct.

The Department of Transportation says the maximum load limit for vehicles on the busy highway has been reduced to 15 tonnes between 10:00 this morning and 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.

All trucks in excess of 15 tonnes heading west from the downtown or traveling east towards the downtown will have to use an alternate route.

Highway Enforcement Officers will be on site today and tomorrow to enforce the temporary weigh restriction.
