Police arrested two men yesterday, in separate incidents, accused of being in contravention of the family violence protection act.
The first incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. at a home in Paradise.
Officers received information from the complainant, as well as several witnesses, before arresting a 35-year-old man at a different house in the town.
He was charged with breaking conditions of the family violence protection act, as well as two previous release orders.
Meanwhile, a 47-year-old man was arrested mid-afternoon yesterday in the capital city for similar alleged offences.
He’s charged with breaching the family violence protection act three times.
Both suspects were held in custody at the city lockup pending appearances in provincial court today.
