The federal minister of Women and Gender Equality and Youth, whose department is responsible for some of the types of programming Choice for Youth has been providing to young people in the community, is coming to St. John’s.
Marci Ien will be in the capital city on Wednesday to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the federal government’s 2SLGBTQI+Action Plan.
Ien is expected to announce funding for communication organizations in Atlantic Canada, including Newfoundland and Labrador while she’s here.
