The Shallaway Youth Choir is “opening its doors” on a 33rd season.
Opening Doors is the theme of this year’s season, and Artistic Director Kellie Walsh says this season isn’t just about performances, but creating connections, celebrating traditions and pushing boundaries.
This season will be marked by four signature concerts including the Where Once They Stood: Songs of Hope and Remembrance on November 11th at the Basilica.
Hark, What’s the Noise: A Newfoundland and Labrador Christmas is scheduled for the Basilica on December 9th and 10th, along with Unlocking the Magic of Christmas on December 15th at the DF Cook Recital Hall.
Once Upon a Choir, focused on the world of folklore and fairytales from all over, will take place in April.
