The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has arrested a man in connection to an incident involving a firearm in Conception Bay South.
The Constabulary says they were called to a report of uttering threats at a home on Comerford’s Road just before 10 a.m. yesterday.
When officers arrived they heard a gunshot from inside the home, and could see a man holding a firearm through a window.
Officers entered the home and took the suspect into custody without further incident. There were no injuries.
The 23-year-old man is facing a list firearms related charges including recklessly discharging a firearm, careless use of a firearm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, as well as property damage and uttering threats.
He will appear in court today.
