Anyone passing through the Harvey Road area near the Rooms and the Basilica may have noticed a bright new mural on the retaining wall near Bonaventure Avenue.
The new mural, by local artist Jerry Evans, explores a number of Indigenous traditions, including Evans’ own Mi’kmaw heritage.
Ktaqmkuk, which features and celebrates many of the province’s life-giving resources, was printed on vinyl and affixed to the concrete retaining wall.
It was made possible through funding provided by the province and the capital city.
