A 36-year-old man has been arrested after breaking into cars in broad daylight.
Metro police first started getting 911 calls during the supper hour on Saturday, where a man was seen breaking into a car.
The owner of the vehicle tried to confront the man, only for the thief to pull what RNC described as an “edged weapon.”
He was arrested a short time later and is facing several charges, including assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a break-and-enter tool, mischief and failure to comply with a court order.
He will see a judge later today.
