RNC is investigating a robbery at a convenience store in the centre city of St. John’s.

Police were called around suppertime yesterday after a man had entered the store, hauled out a weapon and demanded cash.

The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived.

The investigation continues.
