Bay St. George RCMP are investigating following a break-in at Hartey’s restaurant in Stephenville.
Police say the man broke the side window in the wee hours of Sunday and stole a bottle of liquor before leaving the store.
The man is described as being in his 20s or 30s, wearing shorts and a dark-coloured shirt around his face.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
