A man who stole a trailer with “heavy equipment” and an ATV yesterday has been arrested after quite the chase.
Police first noticed the 47-year-old stealing the trailer earlier in the day, but when police tried to pull over the suspect, he hit the gas, and hit the police cruiser.
Police caught up with the man later that evening at his home on Paradise road and took him into custody.
He’ll appear before a judge today on charges of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, dangerous operation of a vehicle, flight from police, theft of a motor vehicle and theft.
