A woman was rushed to hospital after she was assaulted by a man in the downtown area.
Police were called to an incident involving a man and woman on Carter’s Hill Place around 9:30 last night.
The woman was injured as a result of an altercation and she was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are now searching for the 26-year-old man believed to be responsible. An arrest warrant has been issued on charges of assault and breach of release order.
