Members of the media will get their first look at the new ambulatory care hub that has been built at the site of the old Costco on Stavanger Drive.
In January 2024, the province awarded $82 million, 20-year contract to Newfoundland and Labrador Health Alliance to lease the building.
The new facility is expected to provide numerous services that do not require an overnight stay, such as basic X-ray, ultrasounds, and some cardiac diagnostics.
It will also include an urgent care facility, which will handle situations that require same day care, but aren’t considered an emergency.
Media will tour the facility at 10 a.m.
