We have some weather watches and warnings out for parts of Newfoundland and Labrador today.
Environment Canada has extended a heat warning from Clarenville and the Bonavista Peninsula to central and northeastern Newfoundland. Maximum daytime temperatures will range from 28 to 32 with the humidex between 34 and 38. Things won’t cool off much in the overnight with a low temperature of between 16 and 19. Parts of southern Labrador are also under a heat warning.
Meanwhile, parts of central and southern Labrador are also expecting thundershowers today and this evening. A lot of rain can fall in a very short time in those thundershowers.
