A man is in custody after a stabbing at a home in Bonavista.
RCMP rushed to a home Wednesday night around 7:00 but the victim declined treatment. Officers arrested 52-year-old Jerry Pearce, who was known to the victim, at a nearby residence.
Pearce has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of same for a dangerous purpose, and breach of a release order.
He will be in court today for a bail hearing.
