The RNC issued more than 300 tickets for driving offences over the Labour Day long weekend.
The enforcement effort was focused on speeding, distracted driving, and impaired driving.
A total of 334 tickets were issued, seven vehicles were seized and four driver’s licenses were suspended.
One driver was charged with impaired.
RNC officers in the Corner Brook region arrested one driver and one passenger in separate stops on outstanding warrants. More than 100 tickets were issued in the RNC’s west coast jurisdiction.
Meanwhile, the Constabulary in Labrador West issued 29 tickets for various traffic violations.
