The RNC has seized a dirt bike and a young driver and his mom were ticketed after a police enforcement operation on the Labour Day weekend.

Members of the RNC’s Traffic Services noticed two dirt bikes on Kenmount Road heading toward Paradise. When the bikes noticed the police vehicles, they sped away – but one of the machines stalled.

RNC say a 15-year-old boy was ticketed for driving an off-road vehicle on a highway without a driver’s licence, driving without a licence plate, and driving without insurance.

The boy’s mother was also ticketed for allowing him to drive the machine without proper supervision. The dirt bike was seized by police and impounded.
