One man is in custody after police caught up with a pickup truck reportedly stolen from the Cashin Avenue area of St. John’s earlier today.
The RNC were called about the theft just before noon.

A short time later, a black Ford F-150 was located in the parking lot of the Village Shopping Centre.
It appears as though the truck came to a stop on a small embankment with a trail linking the parking lot and Robinson’s Place.
Police surrounded the pickup and took at least one man into custody.
