A 23-year-old man is facing charges after a disturbance at a home in Grand Bank earlier this week.
RCMP were called around 5:00 p.m. Monday to reports of two people who had been assaulted by a man they both knew.
When police arrived, the suspect had already left the scene.
RCMP located 23-year-old Jordan Tibbo at the end of the breakwater near the lighthouse a short time later.
He was held in custody pending a court appearance on charges of assault and assault with a weapon.
