The first week is behind all three of the major party leaders in this province as the campaign rolls into week two.
Liberal Leader John Hogan split his weekend between metro and central, door-knocking with candidates in St. John’s Centre, Harbour Main, Topsail and Grand Falls-Windsor.
He’s expected to host another media availability later today from central.
PC Leader Tony Wakeham continues his campaign outside the metro region, just days after announcing plans to pull out of an NMCA Marine Protection agreement.
He’s also anticipated to make another campaign pledge later today.
Meanwhile, NDP Leader Jim Dinn is back in metro, fresh off a stint in Labrador where he offered a number of supports for the mining sector over the weekend.
Dinn too will make another announcement later this morning as well.
VOCM News will continue to follow all three political leaders.
