A man has been charged with drunk driving after crashing his vehicle into a ditch yesterday morning.

Police were called around 10:00 to reports of a possible drunk driver in a ditch. When officers arrived, the man was still behind the wheel, attempting to get the vehicle out.

The driver was incoherent and had to be helped out of the car by officers as he was not able to stand on his feet.

Police also found five empty flasks of vodka inside the vehicle.

The man declined to provide a breath sample and he was charged with impaired driving and refusal.

His vehicle was seized.
