Power has been restored to homes in Grand Bank and Fortune after what firefighters are calling a forest fire last night.

Aerial crews descended on the fire just after sundown yesterday, where the blaze started along the transmission corridor and began moving towards Lawn.

There has been no word on the cause of the fire or if transmission lines were damaged in the fire.
