There will be some slowdowns along a major thoroughfare in the metro region over the next couple of days.

Today, the eastbound ramp from Pitts Memorial to the TCH will be closed for most of the day, and tomorrow the westbound ramp will be closed.

The closures, necessitated by ongoing bridge work in the area, will happen from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
