Trades NL has fully endorsed the PC party ahead of the October 14th election.
Leader Tony Wakeham was greeted at the UA Local 740 Training Centre in Mount Pearl by the organization and all 14 of its member unions.
Trades NL executive director Bob Fiander says the Tories “showed no hesitation” in terms of wanting to get work done in the province, whereas they “haven’t heard tell of the Liberal government at all.” Fiander says they have been speaking with the current government “for months on end,” but when they put questions out to all the parties it was the PCs that “came to the plate.”
Wakeham promises that his party will be a “pro jobs government” which means that any work that can be done in this province should be done here.
