Polls remain open until 8:00 tonight on the island and 7:30 in Labrador as voters head to the polls to choose the next group of MHAs to occupy the House of Assembly.
Activity at the polls has been largely slow but steady, but is expected to pick up later in the day.
Voter cards never went out this year because of the labour dispute at Canada Post, meaning that voters must check online first to check the location of their polling station.
Voters may encounter some slowdowns as Elections NL staff verify their address and whether they’re on the voter’s list.
VOCM’s election coverage begins at 8:00 (Nfld) tonight, with all the latest results on-air and online and runs until the districts and the government are decided.
