It will be noisy on Signal Hill and downtown for a short time this morning in observance of Remembrance Day.
The 37 Canadian Brigade Group will fire gun and rifle salutes from the Signal Hill Battery and the National War Memorial respectively at 11:00.
The guns will be fired from Signal Hill Battery by 37 Combat Engineer Regiment 22 a total of 22 times while the rifle salute will be carried out by 1st Battalion The Royal Newfoundland Regiment from the National War Memorial and be comprised of three volleys of blank ammunition.
